Frank Herman

Bass & Vocals

Frank Herman is a native of the New Jersey tri-state area, where he began playing bass guitar as a teenager. Frank learned the craft by sitting in with the many country bands that played in his parent's tavern. After that were big shows with The Carl Richards Band, opening for such notables as Willie Nelson, Leon Russel, Delbert McClinton, Sawyer Brown, and Lone Star. Relocating to central Florida in 2013, Frank was 1/3 of the rock trio The Mercury 49's and then spent four years holding down the bottom in the classic country band Southbound Express. This brings us to today - and Saltwater Groove - playing a combination of "yacht rock", and softer-edged rock - with a few classic rockers thrown in for good measure.
